Up on the river one day we rescued a baby duck that was caught in the current (well, first we ran it over with the raft, then we saved it!) After taking down the river with us we figured we could give it to some sort of rescue center or something. The kids at River School had other ideas. Needless to say they adopted the duck and named it 'PING' after a book they have called PING THE DUCK. A few weeks later Ping was getting bigger and someone saw it and said "Thats not a Duck, thats a Goose."
So Ping's name got changed to 'NOTCH O PING'. The kids thought it was pretty funny. This is a picture of Emma and Rachel holding Ping.
