Aspen had a very hard time waiting till Tuesday to wear her Monkey shirt! She picked out this shirt and wouldn't look at anything else in the store. As Emma tried on lots of stuff Aspen just carried around her monkey shirt!
Monday night she put on the shirt "just to see" and then refused to take it off to save it for the first day of school (Tuesday morning). Battle ensued and the shirt was saved for the first day. Its a good thing that she has school in the morning because after playing at grandma's after school we were covered in mud. :) 
Needless to say she had a great first day, and loves that she gets to go to school with Cousin Ty Ty!
